Mel joined Desautels & Associates at the beginning of 2021 Mel originally is from the Philippines where she was a former biology teacher and international english instructor. Mel graduated high school at the age of 15 and college at 19 with high honors. Mel is one of eight children whom her widowed mother raised alone after the death of her father and one of her brothers as a child. Mel was a small town farm girl turned big city career woman that aspired with pure grit and determination to make a better life for herself and her loved ones someday. Mel would often awake at 4:30am to feed her family and her many rescued kitty cats. Mel presently owns an internet cafe in Asia and several investment and vacation homes in the United States. Mel is at the heart of the back end of our company and in addition to being my wife; one of the most beautiful human beings that we are all so blessed to know. Countless former clients ask where Mel is and when they can see Mel on showings if she is not present. Mel has tremendous ethics and values.
